He was predeceased by: his mother Jesse Madden (Moore); and his son Wyatt Madden. He is survived by: his father Fred Rufus Madden Sr.; his wife Christina Bates; his children, Kendell, Aubrey, Charlotte, Courtney, Kenisha, Austin and Jeremiah; his grandchildren, Divinity, Davian, Matthew, Atticus, Roman, Evelynn and William; and his sisters, Kathy Lopez (Romulo) and Chris Stacy (Russell).
