She was predeceased by : her parents, Marion "Doc" Hummel and Velma Hummel; her brother Gordon; her daughter-in-law Kathy Getz; and her grandson Myles Getz.

She is survived by : her husband Walt; her children, Ron Getz (Marla) of Oberlin, KS, Kenny Getz (Dee) of Wickenburg, AZ and Linda Vierow (Dennis) of Sterling; her grandchildren, Eric Getz (Brigitt) of Brighton, CO, Erin Paumen (Cord) of Magnolia, TX, Kaley Kuchynka (Charlie) of Phoenix, AZ, Spencer Vierow (Alysa) of Sterling, CO, Melinda Wright (Brian) of Firestone, CO, Megan Peters (Steve) of Wellington, CO and Michelle Winick of Wellington, CO.; and her great grandchildren, Addison Getz, Ava, Wyatt Paumen, Karsyn, Bailey, Madilyn Vierow, Noah and Caleb Wright.
