It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Binder of Sterling, Colorado, born in Excello, Missouri, who passed away on April 10, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Binder and Goldie Binder; and his siblings, Gene (Liz), Jerry, Shirley Flaa and Karen Dillie (Jim).
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Frank (Julie) of Pahrump, NV and Douglas Eugene (Kristie) of Canyon, TX; his wife Naomi Ruth Johnson; his grandchildren, Kaycee Griffith (Owen) of Arlington, VA and Teagen Binder of Canyon, TX; his sister Brenda Wede of Exira, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Binder of Archer, MO and Don Flaa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
