He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schell and Rose Schell (Schmitt); and his siblings, Jake Schell, Jerome Schell and Pam Koester.
He is survived by: his wife Judy of Anthony's Catholic Church; his sons, Wayne (Susie) and Steve (Christy); his siblings, John (Florence), Jim (Mary), Pat Louderbach (Dewey), Don (Kris) and Robert (Jeanna); his siblings-in-law, Rosie Schell, Pam Schell and Ed Koester; and his grandchildren, Tyler and Kaitie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tennant Funeral Home & Crematory (330 S 2nd St, Sterling, CO 80751). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (333 S 3rd St, Sterling, CO 80751).
