He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy and Louise; his siblings, Wendell Tompkins and Debbie Tompkins; his grandparents, Rufus, Evelyn Tompkins, Wendelin and Opal Unrein; his uncles, Donald and Larry Unrein; his aunt Virginia (Alvin Farner); his nephew Michael Tompkins; and his nephew-in-law James Moreno.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Cindy Tompkins; his uncle Robert Tompkins; his aunts, Georgee (Glen) and Peggy; and his close friend Mark Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
