She was predeceased by: her parents, John Monheiser and Mary Monheiser (Kloberdanz). She is survived by: her husband Arnold Piel; and her children, Douglas Piel of Merino, Greg Piel of London, England, Mary Lou Piel of Jacksonville and Annette Kinnison of Greeley, Colorado. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
