He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Adolf (Corwin); his children, Shandra "Tiger" Adolf (Ed Thomas) of Vallejo, CA, Todd Adolf (Kim) of Morristown, AZ and Sheri Thompson (Jon) of Fort Collins, CO; his stepchildren, Marc Pottorff (Robbi) of Goodland, KS, Kim Davison of Burlington, CO, Jenny Reeverts of Arvada, CO, Jill Tanner (Joel) of Vona, CO and Julie Myers (Mike) of Frederick, CO.; his sister Velda Dobler (Raymond) of Burlington, CO; his granddaughter Makayla Adolf; and his stepgrandchildren, Bryan Thomas, Carolyn Helms (Jacob), Logan Vaughn, Denton Vaughn (Cynthia), Misti Pottorff, Melissa Leavitt (Andy), Valoree Lovato (Dan), Dana Davison, Colton Davison, Canaan Reeverts (Bekah), Keala Widdifield (Jason), Mackenzie Nunez (David), Kaylynne Hainey (Eric), Dillon Tanner (Shelby), Nathan Tanner, LeAnn Tanner, Caleb Tanner, Mason Myers, Gavin Myers (Riley) and Dane Myers (Morgan). He is also survived by 24 step great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hope Congregational Church (40981 Co Rd GG, Bethune, CO 80805).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to the Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital, The Legacy at Burlington, Grace Manor Care Center or to Aspen Leaf Assisted Living Residence and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
