He is survived by: his parents, John Waychoff and Diane O'Brien Waychoff; his pet Bugsy; his sister Angie Wallace (Bob) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his nephews, Ryan Wallace of Cañon City and Stone Wallace of Colorado Springs; his niece Summer Wallace of Colorado Springs; and his aunts, Dawn Henry (Tim) of Waterloo, Debbie Heinick (Gary) of Waterloo, Cheryl Buelow of Elkhorn and Debby Esser (Bob) of Dubuque.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (1425 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
Memorials may be directed to the Big Bones Canine Rescue in Windsor, Colorado, where Charlie fostered dogs or the Sunrise Children's Zoo in Waterloo.
