He is survived by: his wife Mary Olson of Normal, IL.; his children, Tamera Hoyt (Patrick), Tina Purdy (Rich), Nanette Olson-Martinez (George) and Christopher Olson (Jennifer); his stepsons, Karl Rich (Magda) and Erik Rich (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Ryan, Laurel Hoyt, Drew Olson, Victoria, Olivia Martinez, Genevieve, Gabriella, Bradley and Charlotte Olson; his stepgrandchildren, Zora, Matilda Rich, Emilie, Kyle and Genevieve Rich; his siblings, Gerald Olson (Ardys), Joy Parkinson and Delton Olson (Rose); and his in-laws, Glenda Olson, Irene Olson and Jan Olson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blood Cancer United, formerly The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
