He was predeceased by: his father Orlando Montoya; and his brother Lonnie Montoya. He is survived by: his mother Maria Montoya; his wife Fern Montoya; his children, Joe, Trumane and Cherelle; and his grandsons, Niccolo and Marchello. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
