He was predeceased by: his parents, Olegario Villarreal and Eudelia Villarreal; and his siblings, Leandro Villarreal and Olivia Gonzalez. He is survived by: his daughter Maria Villarreal Nunez; his siblings, Udelia Martinez, Marcy Villarreal and Lorenzo; and his granddaughters, Abigail Nunez and Marianna Nunez.
