She is survived by: her daughters, Jodeen Peters, Darla Champlain and Leslie Davis McKown; her sister Janice Burt; her sister-in-law Shirley Pennington; and her close friend Kathi Malaske. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Janet's memory to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
