She was predeceased by: her parents, Diego Martinez and Amelia Martinez (Ernest Brito); and her brother Eutimio Martinez. She is survived by: her children, Angela Mejia (Ramon) and Michael Brito (Sirena); her grandchildren, Justina Brito-Jojola (Anthony), Michael Zachary Brito, Jonas Nathan Brito, April Barra, Felicia Barra and Desirae Barra; and her siblings, Irene Archuleta (Adonario), Dorothy Garcia, Ruben Martinez (Geri) and Judy Romero (Richard).
A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Parish (7240 W 12th Ave, Denver, CO 80214). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Juanita asked that donations be made to the St. Kateri Native American community or Holy Cross Catholic Parish.
