He is survived by: his friend Roy; his wife Meri Reitzer; his children, Rochelle Brower (Don) and Matthew Reitzer (Lindsay); his grandchildren, MacKenzie, Jacob, Zachary, Emily and Christopher; and his brother Ron Reitzer. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A burial will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80236). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Hall at Olinger Highland Mortuary (10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229).
In lieu of flowers, and in accordance with Mitchell's wishes, the family welcomes contributions toward planting a, linden tree in his memory.
