She was predeceased by: her parents, Filipe Lucero and Anne Llanes; her husband Ted Samano; her son David Garcia; and her siblings, Ruth Lucero, Jake Lucero, Phillip Lucero, Lucille Ruiz, Priscilla Lucero and Anthony Lucero.

She is survived by: her brother Robert Lucero (Bob); her children, Gina Samano, Teddi Jo Samano and Jeff Samano (Stephanie); and her grandchildren, Travis Garcia, Sam Garcia (Cher), Nicole Luna (Gabe), Stephanie Steele (Levi), Erik Cordova (Lauren), Jacob Garcia (Annie), Jessica Stojeba, Janelle Samano, Brendan Smith, Colin Smith and Natalie Samano.
