She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shirer and Carrie May Brown (Freyermuth); her husband N. William Zimmerman (Bill); and her sisters, Jeanne Natalie Dabich (Brown) and Mary Louise Moody (Brown).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Zimmerman of Sarasota, FL, Alisa Zimmerman of Broomfield, CO, Deborah Turner (Jim) of Dover, DE and Cynthia Mondo (Mark) of Grayslake, IL; and her granddaughters, Hillary Lutkus, Abigail Turner and Mimi Zimmerman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
