We bid farewell to Shirley Lanford of Thornton, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 12, 2026 at the age of 83. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zelma Lewton and Jack Young; her sister Naomi Beaver; and her grandson Matthew Rector. She is survived by: her husband Richard John Lanford; her children, Michelle Pappas of Centennial, Colorado and Richard Lanford (Dean'na) of Puerto Morelos; her grandchildren, Ryan Rector, Christine Cook, Ashleigh Lanford (Evan Vilella) and Brittany Gross (Nico); her great grandchildren, Alexis Waggoner, Caleb Cook, Noah Rector, Brody Cook, Brynn Cook, Aiden Rector, Ava Rector, Ophelia Lanford, Lorenzo Vilella, Piper Gross and Carmen Vilella; and her sister Jean Thomas.
