He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Nelson Brown and Ester Maud Sloan; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his wife Margie Garrigues Brown; his sons, Stephen Brown Jr. (Yolanda) and Gregory Brown; his stepdaughter Earen Hummel; his grandchildren, Emily Shinn (Cameron), Jacob Brown (Chelsea), Wolfgang Songhurst and Giana Brown; his great grandchildren, Reagan Shinn, Ike Shinn and Evelyn Songhurst; Visiting Angels (Dana Snyder), Nathan Walter, Rylie Gallegos and McKenna Wiggins.
