He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Lucero; his children, Mellisa "Lisa" Lucero (Randy), Clarita "Clara" Lucero, Hijinia Trujillo (Henry), David Lucero (Giselle) and Luis Adan Saenz (Erica); and his siblings, Loretta Medina of Denver, Colorado and Leroy Lucero (Charlene) of Pueblo, Colorado. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
