She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Lewis and Myrtle Phillips (Lingerfelt-Lewis); her stepfather Kenneth Phillips; her brothers, Thurman, Andrew and Daw Lewis; and her half-brother Keith Phillips.

She is survived by: her children, Keith Steele (Abra), Teresa Steele and Mark Steele (Lisa Bard); her grandchildren, Jason Mott, Corri Mott, Kelly Quam, Tairan Pellerin (Kenny), Kaitlyn Steele-Flood (Conor) and Dustyn Steele; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Addison and Hannah.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice.
