He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore Benjamin and Bernice Benjamin; his sister Edythe; his brother-in-law Alverne Jones; his brother Merlin Benjamin; his son-in-law Jeff Wood; and his great grandchild Arlo Paquette.

He is survived by : his wife Margaret Gatti; his children, Mike Benjamin (Lori), Janice Paquette (Don), Patricia Wood and John Benjamin (Cindy); his grandchildren, Tony (Casey Paquette), Stephen Paquette, Mark (Jaime Paquette), Craig, Jamie Benjamin, Nathan, Erin and Ty Benjamin; and his great grandchildren, Lilly, James Paquette, Dominic, Marco Paquette, Henry and Norah Paquette.
