It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Chekerylla (Westminster, Colorado), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Andy Chekerylla and Mary Chekerylla (Betanzos); her siblings, Richard Chekerylla of Northville, MI, Jim Chekerylla of Seattle, WA and Jeanie Maurer of Golden, CO.; and her nieces and nephews, Andrew Chekerylla, Lisa Chekerylla, Rachel Maurer and Danny Maurer.

Her last position was at Sunrise Assisted Living in the Denver area where she was the head of the Alzheimer's unit.
