She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Elmore and Mildred Elmore; her son Wayne Shafer; her grandson Joshua Shafer; and her sisters, Adabelle and Gertrude.
She is survived by: her husband Fred D. Shafer; her children, Fred A. Shafer, Greg Shafer (Cheryl), Cindy Frappier (Maurice), Christy Buckley (Srikanth) and Bill Shafer; and her daughter-in-law Virginia Shafer. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 40 plus Great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
