He was predeceased by: his wife Regina; his grandson Vincent; his siblings, Shirley Mallory and Gerald Knight, II; and his parents, Gerald M. Knight and Sarah (Fiscus).
He is survived by: his children, Duane Knight, Jr. (Susie), MarySusan Braud (Clarence), Sheila Knight-Fields (William) and Victoria Knight-Allen (Randy); his grandchildren, Zachary, Maddisen, Gabrielle, Kathryn, Alexandra, Jacob and Nicole; and his great grandchildren, Vincent and Sophia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Christ Catholic Church (7400 W 80th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A rosary will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In place of flowers, donations to the Samaritan House in Denver are appreciated.
