He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adam Weigand and Mary (Brotzman); his wife Jacqueline Jean (Kolar) of Westminster; his daughters, Cynthia (Larry Cable) of Brighton, CO. and Joan Moody (Lee) of Thornton, CO.; his grandchild Jacqui De La Fuente (Esteban); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Kason De La Fuente, Serenity, Isabelle and MacKenzie Hamilton; and his grandson Adam Lee Moody. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Ed's memory to support disadvantaged and at-risk youth to the Colorado Rockies Foundation. You can mail donations by check to Colorado Rockies Baseball Club Foundation Attention Kelly Hall 2001 Blake St. Denver, CO 80205.

Ed and i attended college in greeley ( 1953 - 1955 ) and then both were teachers in the mapleton school district. We were close friends both in college and as teachers.
