It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey R. Lowder of Westminster, Colorado, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey G. Lowder and Violet M. Lowder; his wife Colleen; his siblings, David of Longmont and Marilynne Ecklund; his children, Mike, Diane, Tom and Steve; his grandchildren, Rebecca Lowder and Robert Lowder; his former spouse Dick; and also Ken Baird.
In his later years, even with the onset of Alzheimer's, he would reach for his Bible and attempt to read Scriptures, a challenge for him since the disease was moving quickly, taking his ability to read and understand words.
