It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Peter Gertje of Westminster, Colorado, who passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pius Gertje and Maria Gertje; and his siblings, Frank Gertje, John Gertje, Pius Gertje, Maria Appelhans and Elizabeth Kirchgessner.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; and his children, Philip and Linnette. He is also survived by his children, siblings-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
