She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Johansen and Anna Johansen; her husband William Ruch; her daughter Teri Jo Ruch; her stepdaughter Laura Busch; her son-in-law Andrew Caravas; and her siblings, Harold Carlson, Lillian Jensen, Nettie Read, Mary Robb and Margie Schuder.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen and Lou Ann Gentry; her stepson Bill Ruch (Elaine); and her stepson-in-law George Busch.
