He is survived by: his parents, Rose Mary Jaramillo and Richard Abeyta (Virginia De Herrera); his children, Gabrielle Abeyta and Roy Abeyta, Jr.; his sister Rachelle Abeyta; his goddaughter Angel Abeyta; and his nephew Josiah Abeyta. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
