He is survived by: his wife Lois Mary Ann Crites; his brother Harold Madsen; his children, Charlotte Quarton (Terry), Darrell McKinley Madsen, Richard Madsen and Randall Madsen (Sandra); and his brother-in-law Lawrence Crites. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
