Billy Wayne Moss Obituary
Billy Wayne Moss, 84, of Wheat Ridge, CO. passed away on September 30, 2023 with his family and friends by his side at Elms Haven Care Center in Thornton, CO.
Bill was born in Ashford AL and moved to Early County GA in 1940. He ventured off to CO when he was about 14 years old. Bill grew up with two sisters, Shirley and Linda. Son of Elbert Lee Moss and Annie Mae LeRoy. Bill attended The Airborne School 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, KY. He successfully completed general airborne subjects, ground training and jumping from an aircraft in flight and was rated as a qualified parachutist on August 12, 1959. Bill married Frances Lucille Buss on August 25, 1961. Bill and Fran painted homes for many, many years together. Bill and Fran had three boys together. Bill enjoyed playing the dogs, horses, casino games and shooting pool. Bill was a long time Elk's Lodge member. Friends and family will remember Bill with a Bud Light in one hand and a cigar in the other.
Bill is survived by his son Paul, daughter-in-law Lisa, son Aaron, daughter-in-law Emy, two grandchildren Dominic and Renee', Dominic's wife Amanda, Renee's husband Blake, 3 great grandchildren, Cambrei, Ryder and Chiani, sister Shirley and sister Linda.
Celebration of life to be held Saturday, October 14th at 11:00 at the home of Paul and Lisa.
