She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schmelzle and Ruby Schmelzle; her sibling Russell "Buddy" Schmelzle; and her husband Jack Franks. She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Brockmeier and Lois Smith; and her children, Donna Kummet (Tim), David Franks (Judy) and Diane McDowell (Larry). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 step great- grandchild, and 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
