We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2021, at the age of 89, Eva Jean Langer (Wheat Ridge, Colorado), born in Rockford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Roscoe McDowell and Roine Francis Hanna McDowell; and her sister Ruth E. Palmer. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Gail Zariich (Michael), Brenda Roine Carlos (Rudy) and William Perry "Bill" Langer, Jr. (Robin). She is also survived by Grandma Jean had 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

“I have many memories of Jean at Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church. She was always helpful, doing what she could do. At the annual garage sales Jean was in charge of the Christmas items. She would carefully sort things and mark them. A special memory is the Christmas open house that she and Perry would host. It was amazing to see the many theme trees she had decorated! I was the lucky one to find the special "pickle" ornament on the main tree and was delighted to receive a $2 bill!”
