He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Ramona Paquette (David), Susan Owen (Ralph) and Merry Strakey (Robert); his grandchildren, Ryan Mitchell (Andrea), Kristopher Owen (Julie), Matthew Mitchell (Christina), Thomas Owen, Patrick Owen (Missie), Jeff Owen (Sandie) and Christine Anselmo (John); his great grandchildren, Emmett, Nolan, Alana, Layla, Maggie, Mia, Crosbie, Michael, Stacia, Matthew, Grace and Lauren; his wife Patricia Stroh; his daughter Jeanine Fisher (Fredd); his parents, John Strakey and Hazel Strakey (Redd); and his siblings, Phyllis Gribble and Clayton Black.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
