It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard John Pankratz (Wheat Ridge, Colorado), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Pankratz and Dorothea Pankratz. He is survived by: his close friend Peggy Marlow of Lakewood, CO; his sister Mary Nichols of San Diego, CA; his sibling's children, Chris Nichols and Robyn Quick of San Diego, CA; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Anna, Quinn and Kate.
He received the David Brofman Award from the Denver Bar Association which recognizes contributions to the legal profession or the administration of justice by a media professional.
