He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Carpenter and Elvin Carpenter; and his brother-in-law Richard. He is survived by: his sister Janice (Diana); and his children, Scott (Joyce), Michael (Dina), Kevin (Lisa), Denise (Dennis), Joel and Jennifer (Tim). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
