With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Henry Schmit (Wheat Ridge, Colorado), who passed away on December 20, 2021 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Michael Schmit and Marcella Anna Meyer; and his siblings, Irvin Schmit and Loretta Schmit Schoenbeck. He is survived by: his wife Maria Godina; and his son Craig Tugwell of Longmont. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
