She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Cook and Theresa Cook (Cronin); her siblings, Patricia and Mike; and her niece Katie.
She is survived by: her pets, Ivy and Willow; her husband Joe; and her daughters, Kathleen Abegg (Jeff Leitch), Emily McLennan (Joe) and Theresa Cross (Zach). She is also survived by seven grandsons and two granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local animal shelter in her honor.
