It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melissa E. Ortiz (Wheat Ridge, Colorado), who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, Raymond Montoya and Herman Ortiz Sr. Priscilla Sequra (Pacheco). She is survived by: her parents, Melvin Ortiz and Anna Ortiz; her sons, Jovan Ortiz and Zion Ortiz; her brother Raymond Ortiz; and her grandmother Cordy Montoya. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

I wish I had even one video of us laughing but we grew up before cell phones so I will just have to remember it. It was a great laugh, you’d laugh with all the joy in the world. We shared so many fun memories growing up. I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you more when we got older. But know that I never stopped loving you and I never will.”
