He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Hartzler and Vernon Hartzler; his wife Marlys Hartzler; his siblings, Carole Fechner (David) and Larry Hartzler (Vonnie); and his grandson Blayne Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Mitch Hartzler (Neva), Molly Ann Hartzler and Matt Hartzler (Stacy); his grandchildren, Austin, Lucas, Cooper and Aiden; his great grandchild Robbie; and his brother Kent Hartzler.
