We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2026, at the age of 87, Michael James Long (Wheat Ridge, Colorado), born in Rapid City, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta Long and James Long. He is survived by: his children, Mitchell, Stephanie, Stacie and Scott; his grandchildren, McKella, Jordan, Billie, Aimee, Adam and Alex; and his great grandchildren, JJ and Novella.
