She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula May and James Franklin Knox; and her husband Bob. She is survived by: her sons, William Leonard (Marcia) and Lawrence Allen (Lisa); her siblings, Melvin Knox, Nina Knox Wadkins, Norma Knox Dickerson and Frankie Jean Knox; her siblings' children, Audrey Knox (Yvonne), James Knox (Joan), Lula May Morgan (Sam), Danny Castor, Patricia Lane (Richard) and Patricia Chontos (Herb); and her grandchildren, Billy, Shane (Katie), Christopher, Robert (Susie), Tonya (Ron) and Jessica (Ryan).
