He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Traphagan and Phyllis Traphagan (Kotschwar); and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hemphill; his children, Jessica Traphagan and Austin Traphagan (Sammi); his grandson Hank of Yuma, CO; his daughter Tara Traphagan of Denver, CO; his sisters, Mary Traphagan and Tracy DeDore; and his nephew Kevin Traphagan of Denver, CO.. He is also survived by his 4 stepchildren and 14 step-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Yuma Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Yuma County Fairgrounds (410 W Hoag Ave, Yuma, CO 80759).
