He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Slife and Dosha Slife; and his wife Shirley Simmons. He is survived by: his children, Terry, Shirley, Sandy and Randy. He is also survived by his wife, 4 children, 1 bonus child through marriage, 15 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
