With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger J Newton (Wheat Ridge, Colorado), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde D. Newton and Bernice R. St. Clair; his wife Betty LaVonne Ralson; his brother Jerry Newton; and his son Kevin Newton.
He is survived by: his children, Garry Newton, Darla Newton and Marcia Maledy; and his close friend Carol Bryson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many extended family; other loved ones and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary (7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Crown Hill Cemetery. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary (7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
