He is survived by: his siblings, Louis (Nina) of Wheat Ridge, Luke (Diana) of Denver, Phillip of Lakewood, Mike (Christine) of Wheat Ridge, Valerie (Ray) of Golden, Mark of New York, NY, Lisa Puente of Lakewood, Ray of Arvada, Greg Orr, Eric Amorena, Miguel Lovato and John Holtzinger. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Our City Church (10555 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
The family requests that memorial donations to honor Vance's passion for helping the unhoused and supporting mental health be made in his name to the Jefferson Center for Mental Health or Family Tree, a Wheat Ridge nonprofit supporting survivors of domestic violence, child abuse, and homelessness.
