He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bob Paintin and Sandra Paintin; his siblings, Brenda Paintin, Bobbie Paintin (Brent) and Justin Paintin (Jennifer); his children, Joseph Paintin and Kelsey Paintin (Berrie); his close friend Kathy; his stepchildren, Kayla Buchannon (Mike), Tyler Buzzard (Veronica) and Jason Buzzard; his siblings' children, Blake, Becca, Grace, Sarah and Kaytie; and his grandchildren, Adaline, Jordan, Winter, Wesley, Jaelynn, Teagan, Easton, Layton and Kyson.
