She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Latimer and Mabel Latimer; her husband Gerald Wayne Wooten (Jerry); her siblings, Jean Nickel (Max) and Marjorie Gideon (Les); her grandson Jared Phyillaier; Cody Emerson.
She is survived by: her sister Annabelle Hagan (Carl); and her children, Marilyn Emerson (Rick) of Springfield, MO, Larry Wooten (Pat) of Nixa, MO, Linda Phyillaier (John) of Windsor, CO, Jerri Oliver (Tom) of Nunn, CO and Beverly Abell (Brian) of Windsor, CO.. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, in light of Gwen's love for children, memorial gifts may be given to the family which will be donated at a later time to The Focus on Family's children's program in her memory.
