It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Cruz of Windsor, Colorado, born in Ojo Feliz, New Mexico, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Cruz and Edonilia Cruz; his siblings, Leo Cruz (Vangie), Rosanna Garcia (Jesse), Emilia Duran (Noe) and Vidalia Duran; and his grandson Jonah Cruz.

He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Ann Sanchez; his children, Tony Cruz (Nora), Alex Cruz, Marcus Cruz, Gabe Cruz (Sandy), Melanie Groves (Jeremy) and Rose Cruz (Kenny); and his brothers, Trinidad Cruz (Lavinia), Manuel Cruz (Margaret) and Emilio Valdez. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-great Grandchildren.
