It is with sadness that the passing of Karen Sue Korte of Windsor, Colorado is shared. Karen, born on January 14, 1952, passed away on August 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Karen will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Karen by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Karen is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Karen’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Anderson and Marie Anderson. She is survived by: her husband Gary Korte of Windsor, Colorado; her children, Erik Korte (Sarah) of Louisville, KY, Ian Korte (Alia Roinestad) of Estes Park, CO and Erin Hauser (Jayson); and her grandchildren, Mackenzie Korte, Jackson Hauser, Regan Korte and Landon Hauser.
